Naturally 7 and Muntu Valdo join forces for a special concert at the Barbican on 7th February 2012.

Naturally 7 take classic close-harmony style to stratospheric new heights, mixing beat boxing, bass lines and uncanny instrumental imitation with rap and hook-laden soul, pop and jazz. This is a vocal group in a league of its own, and their genuinely fresh use of the voice and astonishingly versatile talent have garnered diverse fans including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Jay Leno and Brian Eno.

Muntu Valdo opens the show. His music is rooted in the blues, mixing African traditions with striking modernity and technical mastery. He returns with a mesmerising solo set that juxtaposes his raw, passionate voice and intensely emotive melodies with an ingenious use of loops, samples and effects.
