More celebrities continue to throw their weight behind the “BEFFTA This Is Love Concert” which will raise funds for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. The concert will take place on 31st March 2012 at The Light House in Camberwell.

Some of the top UK artists supporting the “BEFFTA This Is Love Concert” are Wretch 32, Wiley, Bash, Scorcher, Omar, Myco Chris, Done E, Dionne Reid, David O, Dego Rankings, and many others.

Pauline Long, the organiser of the concert has confirmed that Baroness Scotland will be among the special guests alongside the CEO of The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, Paul Anderson-Walsh.

Founded in memory of the late Stephen Lawrence who was murdered in an unprovoked racist attack on 22nd April 1993, The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust is a national educational charity committed to the advancement of social justice; the alleviation of poverty and community cohesion. Its motto is: "Helping young people achieve a meaningful stake in society".

The Trust has helped many young people realise their ambitions to become architects, Stephen’s chosen career, by supporting them with bursaries and mentoring support. In 2008, the Stephen Lawrence Centre was opened in Deptford, South East London giving thousands more young people an opportunity to nurture and use their creativity.

Apart from raising funds for The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, “BEFFTA This Is Love Concert” is also promoting anti-hate, anti-violence, peace, love and unity as London hosts the Olympics this year.
