Officers from the Hornsey Missing Person's Unit are appealing for help in tracing a 68-year-old Tottenham man.

Simon Balunga went missing on Wednesday 1st February 2012.

He was last seen by relatives, walking down the steps into Brixton tube station at about 19:30hrs. He was due to take a Victoria line train back to Tottenham Hale station from where he would have walked home to Bream Close where he lives with his wife.

However he has not been seen or heard of since.

Police are very concerned for his welfare, particularly since he went missing on one of the coldest nights of the winter.

Mr. Balunga who suffers from the early signs of dementia, is described as black, approx 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a distinctive grey coloured, diamond-patterned beret, grey/green suit, a padded black anorak and black shoes.

Anyone with information on Mr. Balunga's whereabouts should call police on 101.
